The office of the Official Liquidator is a field office
Under the Ministry of Company Affairs, Government of India and is attached to the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka for functioning.
The Office
of the Official Liquidator,
The Karnataka High Court is the High Court of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located in Bangalore,
the capital city of Karnataka. The Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka is established on the act of Mysore High Court act, 1884.
The High Court functions out of a red brick building known as Attara Kacheri.
The Karnataka High Court is currently functional in Bangalore, Hubli-Dharwad and Gulbarga. The
Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka is headed by Hon’ble Shri Chief Justice D. H
Waghela at present the Company Court is headed by by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anand Byrareddy.
All Hon’ble Judges who held company portfolio continues to be a source of inspiration
and guiding light for our office in ensuring that we meet our obligation to the stakeholders expeditiously.
The procedure of liquidation is prescribed under the Companies
(Court) Rules, 1959. These
rules are approved by the Hon’ble Supreme
Court of India and notified by the Central Government. |
